UEA will continue with ongoing works in the Northwest of Sydney as part of the new tunnel network being constructed, which aims to ease traffic and congestion in the area. This large project is being run by one of Australia’s biggest civil contracting companies in conjunction with an international expert company.
UEA is pleased to announce the award of a thrust boring and horizontal directional drilling package of works by Lend Lease as part of a NSW Government multi-billion dollar major roads upgrade package.
UEA Trenchless has been awarded, and has commenced work on, a gravity sewer main installation in Kellyville using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) technologies.
UEA Trenchless were contracted to undertake a 95 metre under bore of the New England Highway in Maitland and install a 457mm OD steel case enveloper pipe with 6.4mm wall thickness. Following the steel case insertion installation the client supplied the DN225 DICL PN35 carrier pipe on centralisers and grout the annulus between the carrier and steel enveloper pipe.
Port Botany NSW is one of the busiest ports in Australia. As part of its expansion, ELGAS required a new LPG gas main be installed across Charlottes Road.
UEA has been successful in its bid for the first of a number of trenchless crossing packages for water and sewer pipelines on a $100m capital works project in North West Sydney. The project is being delivered through a recognised national construction company in a design and construct arrangement.
