UEA has been award a water main renewal contract in the Shoalhaven region of NSW. The works are spread over eleven sites from Nowra to Culburra Beach. Approximately 2.7 kilometres of water main will be installed, reconnecting 60 houses to the new main. The works are a mix of rural properties including dairy farms and suburban / residential areas.
Sydney Water has committed to servicing two major growth areas within the St Marys Wastewater System catchment by mid-2015. These are part of the existing rezoned Western Sydney Employment Area (WSEA) to the south and Jordan Springs Residential Village to the north of the St Marys Water Recycling Plant (WRP).

The UEA Trenchless Division has been awarded a significant Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) job on the South Coast of NSW. The overall project aims to replace the existing submarine cable running under Lake Conjola. Demand during the area’s peak tourist season has been identified by the local electrical authority as a major risk to services. The underwater cable will be replaced by UEA Trenchless using HDD technology.
This month, UEA Trenchless Division will commence a significant Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) project at Moss Vale Road at Beaumont, a town adjacent to the tourist destination Kangaroo Valley in the Illawarra region of New South Wales.
