UEA Electrical Awarded Level 1 Works for the Westconnex M4 Widening

Posted 28 January 2016

After successfully delivering the Level 3 designs for the electrical relocations on the Westconnex M4 Widening project, UEA Electrical has recently been awarded the associated Level 1 construction works.

The scope of this project is derived from the need to relocate the existing electrical distribution assets to allow for the construction works associated with widening the M4 from Church St to Homebush Bay Drive.

UEA Electrical will be relocating overhead and underground high voltage, low voltage and street lighting assets from their current locations to enable the construction of the new sections of carriageway.

The award of this project is another example of how UEA’s significant experience on major infrastructure projects can help our clients to mitigate their risk by knowing that the designer of the works is able to carry these plans through to construction.
