Marsden Park Bore 4

Works are progressing well on Bore 4, the third underbore to be completed by UEA’s recently commissioned Gallagher HDD Maxi Rig spread.

The 740m pilot bore has been completed and the first forward reaming pass is well underway. Designed to cross beneath the low-lying sensitive land bordering Eastern Creek and the future compensatory cut/fill, the bore will allow pumped wastewater flows to enter the DN1200 Riverstone sewer carrier.

Early starts and later finishes are helping to accelerate the works program following a delayed access to site, with a bore completion expected in Mid-June.
