KTM are planning the release of the 1190cc RC8-R World Superbike some time in 2009 and plan to have Troy and his HMC team mate Chris Fillmore ride the bike on its début. The team is making its SunTrust MOTO-ST Series debut this weekend at Road America. They were just 3 seconds off the pole winner of Buell 1125R-mounted Shawn Higbee.
