UEA's Civil & Mining division was established in 2008 to offer a service to road and rail builders, surface and underground mining companies, land developers or for any projects that require large volume rock removal for site preparation or production. UEA do this by specialising in terrain levelling. The technology in most cases also eliminates the need for drill and blast and the need for primary crusher units which minimises noise, vibration and makes some plant redundant. This is only new technology to Australia and UEA are poised to be leaders in this innovative method of construction.

UEA Civil and Mining division utilises the latest technology in rock excavation. The Vermeer T1255 Terrain Leveler eliminates conventional drilling, blasting, and primary crushing. Consistent material size allows product to be loaded directly onto on highway trucks after one pass of the terrain leveller.

Surface Mining

The T1255 has proven capabilities in the expanding mining industry. With mine boundries closing in on community the terrain leveller can remove valuable quantities of ore without the need to drill and blast.
Selectivly mining seams of ore eliminates contamination and, consistant material size prevents tyre damage and wear in a shrinking supply of world rubber.

Rock Excavation

Increasing demand for rock excavation allows the 1255 to remove rock in environmentally sensitive and populated areas without the need for rock hammers, rock saws and primary crushing. Material can be loaded directly onto highway trucks and used as road base or other applications.

Road and Rail Construction

As our road and rail networks stuggle to cope with increasing traffic flows, the terrain leveller is able to assist in duplications without the need to close roads and rail for blasting.
