UEA Electrical was engaged by Stephan Edwards Constructions for the electrical construction of a level 1 high voltage design. The current site, a block of commercial units, is to be transformed into a large dry cleaning facility.

UEA commenced the project with a detailed site survey to provide a project plan. Site specific documentation was then developed including safe work method statements, an OH&S management plan and environmental management plan. Electrical construction works involved installing a padmount substation and obtaining power from Integral Energy’s underground high voltage power network. Cable was hauled for 100 meters to the closest high voltage power supply through existing Integral Energy duct assets. Currently the project is on track to reach the completion date on the 12th March 2011.
